Tetra Pak and WWF-UK are inviting children aged 7 and 14 years to use their creativity to design an image raising the public’s awareness of renewable resources...
The child who submits
the best image will WIN £100, with a further £2,000 being donated to his or her
school, to help fund further environmental initiatives. The competition closes to entries in early December,
so pick up those pencils and pens and get creative! A range of educational
resources has also been developed to teach children about important
environmental topics, including sustainability.
For more information on this
competition, visit the
Renewable Idea website: www.renenewableidea.co.uk
The website also features Tree-Vital Pursuits – a daily quiz for players of all ages to test their environmental knowledge and make a difference, while having fun. For every correct answer players are also entered into a fortnightly prize draw for the chance to win some fantastic prizes including itunes vouchers, festival tickets and camping equipment. The quiz links to a donation counter which converts the points players generate into donations from Tetra Pak to WWF-UK. Players can also generate points and trigger further donations by making a pledge to ‘choose renewable’ or by sharing content with their friends and family via Facebook or Twitter.
